Notice the sign?  Finally made it to the convention.  I’m sure some of you thought it would never happen.  😛

Rounding up the end of the chapter now.  Thanks to all of you for your patience.  I know there have been a lot of snafus and pauses in the action, but I am getting it finished, now aren’t I?  *grin*

[Linda] – You ask a good question that is going to get a fairly complicated response.  My FAQ page (which went away, I see), mentioned that this is a ‘semi-autobiographical comic’.  That is because there are some truths that will be added to the story as it develops that have to do with my ‘discovery’ of my own sexual orientation, and I and my girlfriend’s developing relationship – some fact sprinkled on new fiction, as it were.

Problem with this, of course, is that I am drawing primarily from my own history at the moment.  And there isn’t anything in there that I haven’t experienced yet.

Do you know, I don’t know any older lesbians?  I have a few friends who discovered they were lesbians before I did, and a few gay male friends, but everyone I know is my age or younger.  There might be a smattering of older folk here and there, but they are few and far between.

And it isn’t because I don’t want to meet or get to know any of them – I just don’t know how to find them, or what to say when I do.

I am very agreeable to the idea of adding some stories of lesbians (and even gay men) of all ages to this webcomic.  I think it would be marvellous to branch out and put in a few experiences that are not my own.

I just don’t know enough about those fine folks to feel comfortable telling tales about them yet.  Do you see what I’m saying?

So!  With that in mind, lets open this up a bit.  If you are a lesbian, a gay man, a family member of such, or in any way friendly to the idea, send me a story! (  Let me know about important points in your life – especially when it has to do with fighting for your rights or discovering who you are.  I would love to hear from you and listen to your side of the world.

Do keep in mind, however, that if you send me anything, it may be used by myself for creative purposes, so please keep real names out of it.  Also, by e-mailing me, you are granting me permission to use elements of your tale in a creative work/s, if I choose to do so.  I will not copy/paste any complete story directly from you to a comic unless specifically granted permission to do so.  (and, since it is wise to mention this, I cannot pay anyone for anything, so please don’t ask)

[Crispy] – *gasps!*  WHERE HAVE YOU BEEEEEEEEN????  *grabs and hoists in the air*  SNEAKY GIRL!!  I WAS LOOKING FOR YOU!!
