[Mormo] – It really depends.  Original works don’t tend to do so well unless you have an established fan base (speaking strictly about visual art, here), but fan-art always seems to sell.  Small items generally do better than larger items, but not always.   I brought a coloring book I made myself a few years ago, sold it for a dollar apiece, and still only sold one copy – if that gives you any clues.
Honestly, I feel that the best way to sell at a convention is to go, see what people like, and then go the next year with your merch.  You’ll probably have a dry first year, but if you tailor your selections to your audience, you’ll eventually pull something of a profit.
