He stayed leaning there for a moment, nodding slightly at her comment, his eyes drifting to the floor for a second and his chin jutting off to one side as he sucked on his teeth while he thought. He smiled though, looking back to her," You had better thank yourself that you didn 'snap odd' that thread. Becuase I can tell you right now, you wouldn't have liked what happened." The look in his eyes still showed concern over her current state, but there was also a barely veiled threat showing behind the emerald irises, pinning to her like daggers. He left it at that. but he lifted himself from the cart, walking over and picking up several stacks of cash and stuffing them into his pockets carefully. He needed som extra cash right about now and Sanchex was always willing to psrt with a hundred thousand or so from time to time. Koning never abused the man's loyalty, becuase that would lead to it getting cut off. But when shit hit the fan, he knew he could count on the man.

After he had situated himself he walked over to the vault door, his mocha colored skin a stark contrast to the gleaming steel off the wall that he lenaed against next to the enterance into the vault. His massive hand knocked slowly on the absurdly thick metal door. He assumed that the sound barely traveled to the other side. Slowly the door was pulled open to reveal the small lobby that acted as the main enterance to the vault. There were a small compliment of soliders all standing guard outside the room, armed with heavy weapons platforms and more grenades then any one man should have. Koning motioned to the door, smiling slightly," Well we'll have to go toside to get you that phone. And a new shirt if you would like." his eyes wandered over her face once more," And I don't care if you hate kids, I am still glad you did what you did for mine."

Once more she ignored him. She didn't get mushy over things, it was her job, she did it and she did it well. She didn't care if it helped him out or not, and as for his last comment, once again, she didn't say anything. Did he expect an 'it was nothing' or, 'my pleasure' or perhaps a simple 'you're welcome. He wasn't, because none of those things were true. She didn't care, it was simply another job done.

Standing, she fastened the button of her pants and zipped the fly, crossing the room to follow after Koning. "I'm not threatened by you." She stated simply, walking past him and into the hall. "I dropped you once, I certainly can drop you again." A reminder.... he may have the strength, but Keshayla was ever more bold by that fact. She fought smart, she thought ahead and plotted her actions. She didn't just react and play in the moment; that's how you ended up dead. The men with weapons got a cursury glance before they, too, were ignored.
"Are you sure you know what you're doing?"
"Not one bit. But it's okay, I'm like every landlord in the nation. I've Googled directions."
"Shit."

Koning shrugged slightly as she walked past, stepping to follow after her as they headed towards the armored elevator car that would lead back up to the surface," I'm not saying you should be threatened by me. Hell, I wouldn't even have to do anything. It's the Prides you'd have to worry about. Hell, knowing both of our races, the right catalyst could very easily start a civil war. And unlike your species, mine shifts easily and without pain. Leothrope blood doesn't weaken like that of Lycanthropes. So, even racially, there is a certain edge that we have." His voice wasn't threatening or hostile at all, not even pompus or egotistical, just very 'matter of fact'. The door to the elevator car opened as they approached, allowing them to step inside. Koning stood by the panel of the elevator, not that there were any buttons or anything. The people watching the lift were the ones who controlled it. The doors silently slide shut behind them. He looked up to the ceiling, to the camera that was bolted to the wall above them. He grinned before he looked back to the door as the elevator climbed upwards slowly. He made no attempt at conversation, assuming that she wanted none with how stand-offish she was being.

Something came to his mind though. The card that she had given Pericia. The business card she had given to the girl, telling her to call ig she ever needed anything. Koning looked over to Keshayla, puzzled slightly. HEecould tell by her scent that she was apprehesive, the pungent smell like that of herbs mashed in a pestel. He only assumed that she smelt it, too. It made sense though. She was still trying to sort everything out, and she was ffigurativly in a corner right now and really didn't like the fact. So he could understand why she was being like she was. So he didn't push it any further. But now, Koning, himself, was able to be coll and collected. They were on his turf now. He knew nothing would be able to get to them in here. Not without several dozzen Leothropes like him attacking the creature as well. Sanchez's Pride worked and resided inside the Hard Rock, his Casino here in Vegas. It was a safehouse for any Leothropes that needed it, so long as they didn't cause trouble. Koning would get them both rooms up in the Paradise Tower if she wanted one. Some place more comfortable to stay in for now that would still be very difficult to get to.

Koning looked over to her once again," If you would like, you can stay here. San can hook you up with a room in the tower if you want. Or you can try getting back to the airport to get back to where-ever it is that your going. But I can only assume that it would end up like your last visit there." He pushed himself up off the wall once again as the lift stopped and the doors slide open, depositing them into the inner workings of the Casino, the security offices, the workers lounges, all the rooms that were needed to keep the Casino brining in money lay before them, busy as a bee hive as people walked here and there. The scent of fellow Leothropes drifted through the air as well as they moved through the area. Koning smiled once more, closing his eyes and taking a breath as he stepped off the lift. After a second, he looked back to her," We should go talk to Sanchez, he can get you hooked up with anythin you need."

Her agitation was rising as he continued to talk. Again it showed his ignorance to the current issue, but as she always thought before; it was better to be underestimated. Keshayla was Ameena, her father was a god, and her grandfather was still alive and kicking, and if such things came down to it, cats wouldn't stand a change. They were a virus, hers were a race, there were differences, and reasons why there was no half cat half wolf. But she didn't say anything, focussing instead with counting how many levels they were lifting by the tap against the doors where the flags outside passed.

The doors open and she followed after Koning. She didn't like being surrounded by so many Leos, and the urge to growl and bare her fangs rose but resisted the temptation. Instead she caught the eyes of a few lifting a brow and scanning her appearance, as if questions what she was doing there. She flicked her aura; it was like a slap in the face. Without moving she had successfully caused a man to fly backwards, landing on his back and slid across the ground. She hadn't liked the look on his face, the distaste. But she was satisfied with the scent of blood that followed behind. It was tempting to smirk... but she didn't. Sanchez... she didn't care who he is. All Keshayla needed was a damn shirt and a phone to call Kivan with. She wanted to get out of here... she wanted to make sure he was safe and didn't experience an attack like her; and then get home.

Koning growled deep in his throat as he spun on his heels, planting his fist straight into her forehead as she walked behind him. He didn't hit hard, at least not THAT hard. Just enough to knock her off her feet and onto her ass, sliding a few feet. In the blink of an eye he was ontop of her, his legs pinner her's down, one hand on her shoulder, pinning her to the ground as the other fist was poised over her face, his knuckles poping under the force of his clenched fist as he glared down at her. He didn't care about her hands at the moment, especially while the Leo's gathered at his sides  to watch the spectacle," You'd better listen here, and listen good." His voice was low, not shouting, not growling as he talk, but a low, stern voice full of the promise of pain and suffering for those who didn't listen," I don't care who you are, or who you think you are, or who everyone knows you are. You'd better realise that you're not in fucking Kansas anymore, Toto. It was by my good graces that you're here, that you're fucking alive right now. I could have left you there for that thing. I could have let it have its fucking way with you. Then there'd be no phone to worry about. There'd be no surgery to worry about. There would be nothing. Becuase you'd be fucking dead. So you'd better get that through that thick fucking skull of you're before I have to break it open to let the idea sink in. I know your not happy right now. I cna understand that fact. Your cut off from home, your cut off from everyone you know and trust. And it's gotta be hell right now. But you had better realise that you only way your going to make it through this is with My help and the help of My kind. Or, if you'd like, you can try going it on your own. We see how far that got you last time. About twenty feet through a godamn concrete wall and unconcious. So unless you think you can fight this thing while blacked out on your back, I suggest that you reign the god damn horses back into the stall."

His fist lowered and his voice picked up so that the others knew he was talking to them even though his eyes never left hers," And you... You hav ebetter realise, too. This Lycanthrope is my guest here. You may not like the fact, for some reason or another. but get fucking over it. If I so much as see a bad look towards her, I'll unscrew your head and shit down your throat. This woman is a guest in our home here. Treat her with the same respect you would any other guest that anyone of you would bring in. I don't care what reasons you might have for not liking Lycanthropes, but you'll understand this right here and now. I don't give a fuck. You're not going to look at her, talk to her, or treat her in any manner that is other then respectful and courteous. This is the only time anything like this will ever happen. Becuase next time, whoever it is is going to answer to me. And the only one here that I worry about with that fact is her." He motioned his a nod of his head to Keshayla. Slowly, he pulled himself back away once more standing to his feet, ready for anything she might do," Lets get you to that phone so that you can contact yours. I am sure that whoever it is that you usually talk abck and forth with is just as worried about you a you are of them." He did offer his hand to her though, knowing that she wouldn't take it, expecting her to attack him in all reality.

The punch hurt, but it was what she needed. Her week so far hadn't gone according to plan at a single stage. She just wanted to get home, to curl up in her own bed, to take the comforting touch of Kivan's hand on her shoulder. She wanted out of this weather and back to New York where it was less dry and more wet. Normalicy. Where no demons were chacing her for... she didn't know why.

Of course, had Koning simply hit her it would have been on. Keshayla didn't care about the other Leo's, she would have charged and enjoyed the distraction and ruin of the place. She didn't care... but she found herself in a predicament... a curious possition she never found herself in before. She couldn't move. It wasn't because of wounds, it wasn't because of leverage... the bastard was simply too strong. She's never crossed that before, and now that she found herself unable to move his hands, she wanted it only more. She struggled, twisted, arched her hips, her spine and her shoulders to try and shift his possition to give herself the advantage but failed. He could feel her heart under his palm, racing in her chest with the realization that she could quite possibly be screwed by this. Even gripping his forearms as she twisted to try and pull with her push did nothing.

She grunted. He was lucky his head wasn't any closer, less she headbutted the bastard for being so close. But he didn't give the small woman the opportunity. It was rediculus the differences... his arm was like a leg to her, his hand easily pinning her shoulder and keeping her still. She hated it...

When Koning slid to his feet and offered his hand she batted it to the slide, gracefully drawing to her feet in half a second, while taking several steps back to avoid his reach.
"Are you sure you know what you're doing?"
"Not one bit. But it's okay, I'm like every landlord in the nation. I've Googled directions."
"Shit."

He smled once again as she batted his hand away, taking a step back as well as she rose to her feet. He regarded her for a second, making sure she wasn't going to try to rush him or anything like that. He looked to the others, dismissing them with a wave of his hand, from which they all scattered back to their duties without saying a word. They didn't have to, he knew that understood him perfectly. They were Leos like him, but still, he was the biggest kid on the playground. Koning loved that fact. Most places he went to, when he got there, he could take over for a little while while he was there. If he wanted to, anyway. But he never did. He never really had to. Alphas liked being in the top position. So they liked keeping the people who could take that away from them very happy. And when it came to a 'Challenge' where no weapons were involved and there were honor rules involved, Koning didn't loose. So they always liked to keep the man happy. But he was always courteous becuase of the fact. He never underminded the Alpha, never caused unrest. He was just there for a time and moved on. And the Alphas appreciated it, especially when they needed help.

Koning nodded to Kesha once more as she stood there, neither of them making another move. He turned first, showing a great deal of trust as he exposed his back to her and motioned for her to follow him," I can get you to a private room with a phone. One that no one is listening or watching so you can have your conversation in private. All I ask is that you give me a heads up of what is going on so I can keep the locals from getting suprised. I already told Sanchez the information I had on that thing that was after you, so they know what your up against. All the locals will be here to aid you if you need, or even want the help." He lead the way through the wide halls, past the people who wandered between the offices, performing their tasks. The other Leos had scattered away and were no longer in the area as Koning lead her to a small room. It was an office with a desk, computer, and all other sorts of clerk-ish equipment. Koning stood by the door, motioning for her to step inside," Dial 99 to dial out, then the full number. When your done, I'll be in this office." He pointed to the door right across from it," I have a few calls to make as well." And with that he left her to it, taking a second to look over her face once more. His eyes only flickering down to look at the rest of her body once again before he caught himself. He turned and headed into the office he was going to be using, leaving the door open behind him as he wlked over to the high back leather office chair and sat down, picking up the phone and punching in a number.

If he expected a thankyou, he wasn't getting it. Keshayla moved for the phone the first instant she had, closing the door behind her. It was a relief to sit down, her knees didn't feel steady and still her heart was hammering in her throat from the rush of adrenaline. She was in sad shape, needing a shower, a shirt, and her partner. Scowling with frustration she yanked the phone off of the reciever and put it to her ear, dialing a series of numbers that led through different accounts and divisions before finally dialing the Drow's cell. On the fourth ring he answered. "Yeah?"

"It's me."

There was silence for a moment, before scrambling in shouted orders in drow. He was moving out of the hall and into his office, the door slamming closed behind him. There was a squeak as he plopped into his chair, and then the sound of scrambling as he worked to make sure their call wasn't being recorded or traced. Finally, after a moment he spoke again. "Where are you, are you alright?"

She sighed heavily, leaning back in the chair and placed her face in her palm. "I'm at the Hardrock casino. Almost literally ran into a big cat who wanted to say thankyou."

"What happened?"

She explained everything; or at least everything she knew; which wasn't much. The feel of the demon, how it moved, how it didn't make any sound. Where she woke up and what the wounds were like. She wished she had more intel, but his guess, at this point, was as good as hers. Finally, when she finished, she sighed heavily again and spoke into the phone. "I need to get the hell out of here; I'm surrounded by cats. It's too fucking hot. I'm unarmed, I've lost my tools, and I've just discovered that I can't win arm wrestling with the kitty."

There was silence again, but she could here his breathing and that helped. She felt more relaxed; comfortable. "We've a house in the desert, a few miles where the strip itself; toward the bluffs. Staying there I can monitor you. Getting to Vegas is going to take some time; about a day at best. Think you can hold until then?"
"Are you sure you know what you're doing?"
"Not one bit. But it's okay, I'm like every landlord in the nation. I've Googled directions."
"Shit."

Koning still kept an ear out towards the door. It wasn't that thick, so he could still hear faint traces of her conversation, even as he made his. He didn't hide the number he dialed like she did. He didn't have to. The other side rang several times before someone finally, groggily, answered the phone. The voice was a female, late 20s-ish," Heello?" Koning smiled faintly," Hey there." The line went dead for a second. Koning closed his eyes for a second, waiting to see what she would say as he heard her straighten out in what he could only assume was her bed," Hey there, King. What can I do for you?"

" I need some favors. I'm cashing in a few straight 'You owe me's with this one." There was some grumbling on the other end of the line," What is it this time, killer?"

"Demon, far as I can tell. Ain't seen anything like it before on this world, and it wasn't divinly made, thats for damn sure. Came after an... aquaintance of mine. I kinda..stepped into the middle of it. So I'm trying to see what can I might be able to get my hands on that might help level the playing feild against this beast." "What is it like?" "Well, It's big. Like ten feet if it weren't hunched over like a T-Rex half the time. The most dull, flat brown you could ever see, Horns like Wilderbeast, and a mouth like a lampree eel. It doesn't make any sound. Not at all, breathing, walking, talking, attacking. It's silent as a ghost. Pretty damn fast, and it seems to have some sort of fetish for the Lycan I got in my company."

There was another pause on the other side for a second," Koning... Are you feeling alright?" "Yeah, why?" " Becuase you're hanging out with Lycans?" Koning growled for a second," Mind yourself. I keep the company I do for my own reasons. Don't worry about that and just tell me what I can use." The woman grunted as she sat down once again, flipping open a few books and pulling open a lap top. Koning sat silently, listeing to the office across the hall as she did her searching," Well, I'd say that with something like this Holy Symbols are going to be useless. But its a good place to try to start off with. Holy Water always works against them, to varying degrees. um, Lets see...." A few pages turned before one book closed, and then the other, and then a short pause as she worked on the computer," Boy, I got nothing that I know of fitting that description. If you manage to bring it down, make sure to keep it so I can get a look at it, would you?" Koniing laughed out loud for a moment," Yeah. I'll see what I can do. Thanks, Lynx." "No problem, boyo. Stay safe, alright?" He nodded even though she couldn't see it, still smiling a bit," You don't have to worry bout me, Darlin'. Just keep searching and see if there is anything you can dig up on this thing. If you do, call my cell and let me know immediatly. Talk to you later." And with that, he hung up the phone. Switching over toa different line to make a few more calls around the area.

It wasn't till about fifteen minutes later that he had everything lined up that he would need, or at least thought he would need to give him and edge against this creature. He'd have to go pick it up himself though. Slowly he rose from the chair, walking over to the door to the other office and knocking on the door a few times.
