OOC: okay time to make the move, hopefully this will speed things up. I've copied my latest post but to see anything that happened previously you are going to have to refer back to the old thread

(end of round 2)

Sigdis quickly rallies from the guards strike and returns a strike of her own, catching the guards arm as he is recovering from his strike. Iden and Redek send a volley of bolts that miss the guard and go speeding into the room behind him. Jessamine attempts to cast a spell, but is unsuccessful.

(round 3)

The guard attacks again, but as he attacks his dagger seems to split into two, creating one real dagger and one that seems to be made from shadow. Sigdis successfully blocks the shadowy dagger with her shield, but while she does this the guard slips under her guard and viciously slashes Sigdis's arm. Though the dagger pierces the armor Sigdis's skin itself seems to resist being cut, diminishing the severity of the wound.

OOC:

Whether it is due to accumulated blood-loss or not is unknown, but Sigdis grins a crazy grin, and cracks her neck to one side.  Then, with a small half step and an almost negligent sweep of her sword arm, she slashes at the guard once more.

Iden reloaded and shot again.  This guy was much tougher than the other guards had been.  And Sigdis was starting to look rather pale . . . er.

OOC:Yes, 5 damage.  That is what I do guys.

With the rapidity of her casual counterattack, Sigdis's slash surprises the guard creating a deep gash under the guards arm. Iden takes careful aim and fires another bolt, catching the guard a grazing blow on the shoulder. This wound is apparently the last straw as he collapses to the ground unconscious.

"That worked?  That worked!" Iden exclaimed, relieved to see the gaurd go down before Sigdis did.  "How you holding up there, Sigdis?  You know you're supposed to keep your own blood inside right?"

OOc: Sorry, still all a bit new to me.

Sigdis flicked her eyes towards Iden briefly, as she knelt down to use her blade to finish off the unconscious foe.  "I'm fine," she growled, slitting the guard's throat.  Perhaps a bit too vigorously.  To have required such assistance from someone like Iden in a fight was... embarrassing.  And now she was in lousy shape.  She wiped her sword clean upon the chest of the guard, and then lay both it and her shield on the ground.  Care and maintenance of one's armaments first was only proper, but the body needed tending as well... Sigdis sat down on the hard ground a bit ungracefully, and shifted her backpack free from her shoulders.  She fished out a Potion of Cure Light Wounds, and sniffed it dubiously.   Pulling the stopper free with her teeth, she spit it out and then downed the contents of the vial in a single gulp.  She let out a long sigh.  Better.  Sigdis looked up at the rest of the party, and gathered her sword and shield to her once more, then stood up.

"Another brilliant defeat!" commented Jess, nudging the guard's body with her toe and grinning at Sigdis. "Clearly, they don't really want us here, so we should oblige and get moving again."

Redek was a bit pleased to see that the guard had fallen so quickly.  After their rather... pitiful display when they first fought together, he didn't expect to see this kind of performance from them.  As Sidgis settled in, he walked past her and over to the body, quickly looking over the corpse for anything he could find useful, making sure to pick up the sword and dagger as well.  "Well lets see what our friend was kind enough to give us this time." he said as he looked over the spoils, already knowing he would have to share, planning on tossing the sword to Sidgis, the dagger to Iden, and he still was unsure what he would have to give up to Jess.

Upon searching the guard you find in addition to his sword and dagger a coat of high quality mail, a ring of keys and in his breast pocket you find a small silver medallion depicting a snake eating its own tail. The keys match those you already have except for one silver and one crystal one. He is wearing a broad leather belt studded with three moonstones two of which are faintly glowing and the third seems strangely darkened.

Sigdis turned to observe Redek's search, her eyes caught by the strange belt.
"What is that?" she said.

And, is the sword just a regular sword?  I vaguely recall it being on fire, but the other site is down right now, so I cant check the old posts.  Is there anything unusual about it?
Also, if no other help is forthcoming, I will drink my other potion also in case we meet up with any other nastiness on the way out.

"Oh look! More keys!" piped Jess, smirking as she flexed her fingers.  The numbness from her last key-related adventure was nearly all gone.  The crystal key in particular was eye-catching...however... "I'll let someone else get bzzzt'd this time, and I wouldn't mind that slithery necklace."

"Sorry." Redek replied, catching Sidgis eying the belt.  "I think I'm going to hold onto this one for now.  Once we are out of here I can take a look at those weapons for you as well."  At that time, he was tossing around the idea of detect magic.  He already knew that the dagger and sword were magic from the fight, and he also had his suspicions for what the belt may be.  But that still left the amulet that Jess had picked up.  From the fight, he had seen no magic from the item at all.

Iden was more than happy to let the others carry the spoils, just so long as he was aware of where it all went.  He therefore kept careful watch over who took what, pleased to see Sigdis had aquired another weapon, surely that would help prevent her bleeding so distastefully all over the place.

"I really hope that we get out of here soon, in comparison the cells were almost cozy."

(OOC: Sorry I've been so spacey, I got really distracted with the whole moving business . . .)

"Agreed, wholeheartedly," said Jess, slipping the necklace over her head.  It fell just below her Olidammara pendent. "Shall we?"

Since no one was bothering to go anywhere, Redek took the initiative and started walking again, the room on the left and looking around the room before opening up the desk.

The top of the desk is perfectly clean save for a small sheaf of papers that the guard seems to have been working on. They are the files on the four of you, detailing the capture, crime and sentence for each of you. The only thing in common in these reports is one single sentence, that of Unification. The reports are signed Leftenaunt Belun. Inside the desk are unimportant files, mostly of the same sort as those on the top of the desk, one striking feature is that they all bear the same sentence, Unification.

I rather liked the characters involved and the idea of the game, but at best if we are only seeing a couple of sentences from each person a week, I don't think I can keep up the enthusiasm for it.  It'll take another month just to get out of the jail.
