"What...what are you," the man's voice cracks under fear. The being standing before him, whom just seconds ago stood more than a hundred feet, had also killed everyone on the path to this leader. The leader whom thought he had everything under control watched three of his comrades killed without mercy. In a quick turn of events, control meant nothing. "Please! Please don't kill me," the leader begs for his life as he moves backward stumbling over the luxury recliner he'd sat in while dictating. "You're a...demon!"

"Demon? No, I'm a dark angel," the man hovering over the leader spoke placing both of his hands on the recliner's armrests.
"Please don't kill me..." the leader cripples in the chair. His mind could not comprehend the presence before him and thus, his body could not react accordingly. His limbs stiffened and tears stroll down his cheeks.
"I'm sorry, but you're already dead," the dark angel moves away, then drops from the second level down to the first. The leader didn't move, his heart beating restless in its cage. Just when it sought to calm down--when the danger appeared to be gone, the leader spits black blood from his mouth, drops to his knees, and keels over in unbearable pain. His body jerks, the tears turn black, and his limbs lock in position. It was a silent death to those farthest from him; after all, none could hear the agonizing screams in his mind.

The dark angel, Nehemiah, stood on the first floor along with the girls. The girls are caged to his left and the men are caged on the third floor to his right; yet, he shows no signs of moving in to release them. Nehemiah stood for justice and trusted people; but alas, he learns that the humans could not be trusted. It would've been fine though. Nehemiah would have helped regardless; but what makes these turn of events different is the power unlocked. Much of his memory returned when he had fallen to his knees in an unstable state, a ring around his neck to read and replay his thoughts over a large screen. When he thought his mind had completely gone wrong, Nehemiah learned that his mind was remembering past events, and those around him saw a world through his eyes that they had never seen before. Nehemiah is a dark angel from the heavens; but the question now remains, what is he doing on earth and why was his memory lost?

"Hey kid, free us! Let us out already! Free us," the words come in from all sides but Nehemiah doesn't respond, nor does he move; he simply stands there.
"So you've got your memory back," a voice breaks out among the cries. Nehemiah's head raises to the second level to see a woman sitting on the railing with her legs crossed. She didn't appear to be in fear nor did she cry to be rescued. She sat on the ledge and peered down at Nehemiah with sage green eyes that complimented her slightly lighter and lengthy green hair. The color is unnatural yet on this woman, it appeared to be perfect. She is clothed in a typical school girl's outfit--a white dress shirt, a black and white plaid skirt, and white stockings.

"Who are you," Nehemiah asks moving his fingers nervously at the sight of her. There is a lot of things he is unsure of and apparently, this woman has some answers; however, Nehemiah is far from afraid. He threw fear away when he decided to fight and the emotion has yet to return to him now that his power has.

"Do you see now...what the humans are like? Greedy. Selfish. They'll even kill their own kind for a couple minutes of bliss," she ignored Nehemiah's questioned and began a rant that seemed to start in the middle. Nehemiah couldn't find the memory that might have been the beginning of this conversation from long ago. "Honestly, I don't care about them. What I'm worried about is the earth. They are destroying the earth!"

"Did you bring me here just to see that?"
"Yes. If you did not see with your own eyes and feel with your own body, you would never understand," Nehemiah saw that he posed a good question that brought a reasonable answer. From here, he can continue. "But you lost your memory in the process." When Nehemiah didn't respond, the woman appeared to grow frustrated. "I am asking that you destroy the humans," she threw the statement out bluntly and the gasps of all those around followed.

"Sorry, but I have no intentions of doing so," Nehemiah shakes his head and turns from her.
"Still not enough huh? You still aren't convinced? They just betrayed you to save themselves," her voice raises. The woman spoke as if the men and women around her were not there yet she spoke of them. "What more do you need? My name? I am Tytannial, goddess of earth and protector of its inhabitants."

"Protector? Here you're trying to destroy them!"
"I can't protect the humans. I've tried and I've failed; but to protect everything else, they need cease to exist," her voice lowers along with her eyes. Nehemiah doesn't respond, turns on his heels, and begins in the opposite direction. "Where are you going?"

"I am returning to the heavens."
"I won't let you..." Tytannial nearly mumbles the words but Nehemiah had heard them. Although he wanted to return to the heavens, he did not know how. In fact, he was still unsure how he was brought to the earth. "It took all my power to bring you hear. I endured many years of your memory loss but now that it's been regained, I will not have you slip away. I will not let you return to the heavens!"

"Ha," Nehemiah grins turning back around to face the self-proclaimed goddess of the earth. "Then I have no choice," Nehemiah threatens, shaking the building with his aura.
"I am not weak," Tytannial tightens her grip on the rail to raise herself and place her feet on the rail. The moment she finished, Nehemiah appeared in front of her with his right hand cocked back. The dark angel drove his fist into the second floor at the edge but Tytannial evaded appearing to glide from her original position to the corner of the railing. As Nehemiah drops from the second floor ledge after the attack, he releaes a flash of dark energy from his palm like a thick beam from a laser cannon, except less concentrated yet powerful enough to rupture through the second floor and into the third. Nehemiah grinds his teeth in annoyance when he lands on the first floor. He sprouts black leather wings with a span of twenty feet from his back and launches himself through the glass dome ceiling. Though in a cloud of smoke, he'd seen Tytannial make an escape through the roof.

Vines snag Nehemiah just as he makes his way out. The dark angel is yanked down against the glass dome. The glass shatters but the framework keeps him from plummeting back into the mall. "I told you not to underestimate me! I am not weak," Tytannial shouts from the edge of the building. A news helicopter swerves around trying its best to get the fight live. Like the rest of the world, this fight is nothing like they'd ever seen before.

"Like these pathetic attempts can stop me," Nehemiah begins to rise to his feet despise the pressure on the vines to keep him down. More vines come from the surrounding trees to wrap around his arms and wings.
"Don't be so cocky! I've captured you once before," Tytannial's eyes turn slightly darker as the power is increased. "I can capture you again," she threatens grinding her teeth from effort. "Please, don't fight me! Fight them! They're the threat!"

"Shut up! Right now, you're the threat," Nehemiah pushes himself up breaking the vines one by one. "If you hate them so much, destroy them yourself!"
"Not enough. You don't hate them enough," Tytannial raises her left hand, then slowly begins to clench her fingers into a fist. The vines around his waist tighten with the movement of her fingers yet he finds the strength to free his left arm. Grabbing the vines at his waist now, Nehemiah begins to pull them apart. "He's too strong," Tytannial mumbles seeing her fingers being pushed open as Nehemiah does with the vines.

"I have no choice," Tytannial speaks to herself. "I have to keep him here at all costs," her mind continues to race. She brings her right arm up with the hand already clenched. For a moment, she has trouble holding Nehemiah in place but finding a moment of relief inbetween his attempts, she opens her right fist quickly; the result is thorns erecting from the vines into Nehemiah's body. Nehemiah moans slightly, then smirks.

"I hope you didn't put all your hopes in that," he grins over at Tytannial.
"Not at all. I need you alive after all so hang there for a bit," she says smacking her palms together and closing her eyes. Nehemiah, though ensared by her vines, attacks with another powerful blast from his palm. Just before its release, vines wrap around the arm pulling it down forcing the blast into the roof just below Nehemiah's feet. The dark angel crashes through to the first floor of the mall. His eyes open in annoyance but before he could launch himself back to the top of the building as he intended to do, Tytannial's voice and power resonates throughout the entire building. Nehemiah's wings as well as his demonic aura vanish with the words echoing off the walls, "Black Garden!"
