"Its pretty boring," he said as he flipped though.  "Boring is good though, just a few anonumous jabs that you are filling positions of power with your relations," he shrugged.  "We can guess who they are."

"Hm, do I really care who it was?" She climbed out of bed, "I told Pheobe last night. She needed to know, or she would have driven me crazy asking for a threesome with X. She thought we were going to share him."

"That boy is not going to be bored," Nine grinned and flicked to another page.  "Serves him right."

"It could be" she smiled, "if you want it to be" she said knealing across the bed and kissing him. She kissed his neck, then his chest. "You should stop me if you didn't want to get scandilous with me" she said just before twrilling her tounge on his chest.

The day went quickly from there. Things were busy as they prepared for the wedding and finished their preperations for the duchy.

It was the night before the wedding. Stormy's estate home was full of special guests from all over the world. It would be hard for some to understand how Southern Clansmen, pirates, spies and royals could all attend the same reason, for the same person. But, Stormy had a way with people and she had never seen anyone as beneath her notice or to high to reach. As such, her homes were filled with well wishers, who under normal circumstances might never get along, dining together in peace.

Stormy was staying in her smallest house, partially because it was closest to the fair grounds and partly because it was currently the most private home she had, despite it being located in the center of town.

Her dress was in 'Schleps room, or what had been his room. Stormy bathed in her large tub, the fresh plants of the house sending relaxing scents to her senses. "I do miss the smell of plants" she said to herself as she floated in the deep tub.

"So put more plants into the other house, or stay here," Nine said from the doorway where he watched her.

"This house is no longer secure enough or large enough. When babies have to use wooden swords to defend themselves; then it is time to move. It is alright for myself, my room has no windows or access from outside and there are no windows on the ground floor. I have considered selling this house. But it comes in handy now and again" she admitted. "As for putting in more plants" she considered, "it is expensive to maintain these plants. Most only grow here or in their shape because of magic. I have three, somtimes four, rangers to care for this house alone. Only one in the other houses" she shrugged and dipped lower in the water. "Besides, I don't want all my houses decorated the same. The atrium is nice" she said nodding, "it just doesn't allow the smell of nature to permeate the entire house." She looked back at him, "I thought you weren't supposed to see me until after the wedding" she asked with a smile. She didn't really believe it, but it was a fun notion to play with.

"I think that's only in your dress, and we're safe, you're undressed," Nine shrugged.  "And I think we could use more plants, or I'll build onto the house we have now and make it what you want.  For you, I'll build another one exactly as you want."

"I have plenty of homes" she said rolling over to lay on her stomach. "Please do not buy me or build me a house. I already have too many. But they each serve a sort of purpose. This one is full of plants and has the best tub. I like that I can escape to it and it takes a while for people to realize where I went. The estate is my nod to history and has the most guest rooms. The one in Aldoreane is my private getaway home. My house in Delloram is a cottage and allows me to have some space, while remaining in country. The one I live in" she stood up, "serves as a great base to conduct provincial business" she said as water poured off her body. "They are all different and each evoke different feelings in me" she stepped out of the tub. "But I do love this bath" she acknowledged, "and how the plants envelope the room."

She put on a thick robe, then looked at him. "You could move some of your things into our room. That would make you feel more apart of it" she smiled. "I know that it is stil a bit stark, but the plan was to add things as I found them. It gives me a little hobby, picking different things to decorate. I just haven't had many opourtunities to persue it."

"We should have a portrait painted of the two of us" she said after a pause. "We could have the cats all around us" she said warming to the idea. "Perhaps it could be a mural on the wall with the door" she added.

She looked thoughtful, "if we move that wall our bedroom will be in the hall" she laughed, "but a painting is fine. Should we ask someone we know or hire someone less known?"

Stormy gave him a long look. "Let's get to bed. It will be a really long day tomorrow and we aren't getting any younger" she grinned.

The wedding wasn't until midmorning. So when they rose they enjoyed a leisurly morning. Once fed Stormy rang for Roper to help her dress and do her hair. Meanwhile Nine went to do his own preperations.

Once Roper and his team of beauticians finished she was loaded into a coach and under a full squad of Tigres traveled to the fair grounds.

The coach entered the tournament grounds to find Nine standing before the king and behind a line of grooms with gaps between them.  Several coaches stopped long enough for a groomsman and bridesmaid to step out and take a position to either side of the groom.  Then at last Stormy stepped from her coach at the entrance of the grounds and took Marcus' hand and walked with his mother, followed by two columns of brides and their fathers, a hundred in all.

Stormy finally stopped before Nine and Marcus took her hand and placed it upon his arm and withdrew to stand with the groomsmen.  Soon a long line of brides and grooms turned toward each other as King Ramon II spoke the ancient words and led them in their marriage oaths.  Then he recited the names of each of the married coupled and finally ended with Nine and Stormy, laying out the full titles as he made sure that the world knew who exactly was here and what they had done.

Finally the brides and grooms retired to their tables scattered throughout the large field and hundred brought out the food, loading each table.

"I think that went rather well," Ramon observed from the opposite end of the long table from Stormy, grinning as many cheered from tables around them.  There was eating and drinking and laughter as several bands took their turn to play for the crowd of thousands.

Finally the coach arrived for Stormy and Nine, and or course Marcus who seemed to have grown a foot or more since she saw him last.  He turned back and forth and waved out of both sides as they rode away, two columns of ceremonial knights following them out.

"Ripping, Mommy, just ripping!
